The 2020 Australian Web Awards went ahead in responsible #StayAtHome style, making the most of the medium we all lovingly contribute to. We were thrilled to learn that not only did we win in every category in which we’d been nominated but we also took out the grand prize for Site of the Year.
For Perth-based Curtain & Blind Co, we created a premium, responsive website and online store with a sophisticated showroom feel. Winning the eCommerce award with this work means a lot to us, as we pride ourselves on our approach to creating powerfully visual eCommerce experiences.
The National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) website was a strategic design piece, backed up by high-impact visuals and purpose-driven content. NBCF took out both the prestigious McFarlane Prize (Site of the Year) and the Not For Profit category ahead of some strong submissions, including our own finalist placement for Scitech, which itself was awarded the Government category.
Taking home the Small Business award for Locimo was particularly pleasing, as we’ve been working closely with their team since the company was founded. They’re a progressive business in every sense of the word, allowing us to collaborate strategically as well as in a production and brand capacity, helping shape their industry-changing platform.
Finally, the Green Leaves Early Learning Centre saw the combination of a thoughtfully crafted brand with best practice technical development that’s fully accessible and 100% device responsive. This outcome earned us the Education category award.
These accolades belong just as much to our outstanding clients. With their willingness to invest in quality results, we’ve been able to create best-in-class experiences for their audiences, and world-class outcomes for their brands. We’re very grateful to have worked with so many forward-thinking companies who have committed to genuine collaboration and trusted in what we have to offer.
