As a long time partner with the university, we were approached by the Faculty of Business and Law to rethink the student study planner with a digital, UX-first approach.
With a manual process that was navigated by way of complex Excel spreadsheets and multiple page PDFs, the existing method for students to create their study plan was overwhelming and laborious. After deep-diving into Dicovery and UX phases of work, we proposed a solution that would guide students through the journey while automating the selection process. The end result is a lightweight, highly performant web application that provides a self-service solution for students to easily explore and download their course plans.
Since launch, thousands of students have benefited from the tool, improving course planning and helping students feel confident in their academic journey, while significantly reducing staff workload.
